Abstract

|
In recent years. renal artery reconstruction with autotransplantation has replaced nephrectomy for the purpose of preservation of functioning kidney. We report a case of renal autotransplantatioin with renovascular hypertension due to Takayasu’ s disease. We selected extraperitoneal approach and ex vivo repair with hypothermic perfusion. The ureter was left intact during reconstruction. Result was partially responsive. The patient is norrnotensive with additive anti hypertensive drug.
